Getting my arse kicked from pillar to post on HMAS Stalwart (a Destroyer Tender) as the Electrical Department disciplinary problem when the Electrical Officer called me to his cabin and gave me a choice of Submarines or being buried in the hole I was digging for myself.
Needless to say 14 years in Submarines later and now 18 years of maintaining Submarines in civilian life probably means I made the right choice. |
