I don't believe I've heard many of these recordings before, Elizabeth Reed and Stormy Monday are different for sure. Glad to find great old music new to my consistently disgusting ear canals.

Don, you had a Spitfire and a working radio - I thought for anything powered by Lucas that couldn't happen.  My friends talked me out a Triumph because of that in'74.

I think the Triumphs were better than, for example, the MG's.  I had to sell mine after EAOS in Charleston as it wan't towable behind my VW bus (bumper was too weak).  I still reget not keeping it - I loved that car and it never failed me (even survived hitting a deer on my way up to diver's school in Groton )

Later bought an MGB Roadster and had plenty of electrical trouble including a fire!!   But yeah, the Spitfire was my fave!!
