At random: "I propose to you a new arm of war, as formidable as it is economical. Submarine navigation, which has been sometimes attempted, but as all know without results, owing to want of suitable opportunities, is now a problematical thing no more." - Brutus de Villeroi in a letter to President Lincoln, 1862

and after I used it I was so drunk I went outside and fell in a Benji ditch in my dressed whites.
Marines at gate didn't even look at my ID they held there nose and told me to get lost.

Crew made me sleep on the dock until someone had courage to bring me new clothes -- that uniform went into the deep six bin and not on the boat

There was the one in Yokosuka that was a bare hole in the floor with aluminum foot locators on each side. The hole was hard to hit after a quart of rum or a dozen bottles of Asahi or Akadama.

Well not exactly that very one but I have used one justlike it at the home of my buddies girl friend and at the bars in yoko that I frequented when there 1962 -1963. We were there 7 months. "Jesus Christ we're out of rice, chopstick gone, binjo broke, typhoon come we all die soon"!!!

Wouldn't recognize it, it is to good looking. Someone must have cleaned it. Cora, depending on youe business, if male, you either squatted over it or stood to one side of it. The more stylish ones had a hose to flush it.
