The above link goes to the USSVI (United States Submarine Veterans, Inc.) Facebook page where their members who have gone on “Eternal Patrol” are noted.

I’ll keep my work here going, trying to get others who were not USSVI members. You’re encouraged to look there as well as here! Obviously, there’ll be some I miss and some I duplicate.

WALKER .. .. .. Bozrah - Richard "Rick" Kenneth Walker, 82, of Bozrah, passed away peacefully Oct. 2, 2025, at Elmbrook Village. Born in Bennington, Vt., Dec. 13, 1942, he was the son of the late Donald and Cecilia Walker.

Rick proudly served his country in the United States Navy operating nuclear submarines before embarking on a long career at Millstone, where he worked as an nuclear power plant operator and shift manager for over 35 years. Eventually he retired to the driver's seat of a school bus, where he discovered that keeping a reactor steady was easier than keeping middle schoolers in their seats.

Above all, Rick was a man of deep faith and service. A devoted Catholic, he served for decades as a Deacon at St. Paul's in Waterford, where his ministry, wisdom, and unmistakable sense of humor left lasting marks on countless lives. He was just as likely to quote Scripture as he was to crack a joke, often managing to do both in the same breath.

Rick is survived by his loving wife, Sharon Ann Walker; his sister, Mary Wasielewski of Branson, Mo.; his children, Corinne (Bill) Banker, Cheryl Walker, Cynthia (Mark) Noniewicz, and David (Nicole) Walker; and by his grandchildren: Ben (Deanna) Banker, Tyler (Meg) Banker, Jennifer (Justin) Hicks, Tucker and Brady Noniewicz, Katie Teixiera, and Lucas and Mason Walker; and by his great-grandchildren, Blake Hicks, Avery Banker, and Skylar Banker. He was preceded in death by his brothers, William, Robert, Donald, Father David, Andrew and James Walker; his sister, Jean Walker; and his foster daughter and longtime family friend, Rachel Schriver.

Rick loved reading Scripture and telling jokes - sometimes bad ones, always memorable ones. His humor, kindness, fierce devotion to his wife and family, and unwavering faith will be deeply missed.

JOZWIK .. .. .. Paul Jozwik, a beloved husband, father, and community member, passed away peacefully on October 27, 2025 after a life well lived. Paul was born on October 29, 1935 in El Paso, Texas and moved as a teen to Casper where he would spend the majority of his life.
Paul proudly served four years in the United States Navy’s Submarine Force as an electrician, stationed at the Naval Submarine Base New London in Connecticut. During his service, he participated in operations aboard the USS Crevalle, traveling along the East Coast and throughout the Caribbean. It was during this time that he met his future wife, Janet Sanger, on a blind date. Janet later fondly recalled Paul as the “most handsome man” she had ever seen. Their whirlwind courtship culminated in their marriage on December 26, 1959 at the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
After completing his naval service, Paul returned to Casper with Janet, where they built a life together. He worked for the Burlington Northern Railroad while he and his brother Francis developed the Johnny Appleseed gardening center into a thriving local business. In 1975, Paul left the railroad to dedicate himself full-time to Johnny Appleseed, nurturing the business with the same care and dedication he showed his family.
A big bear of a man with keen intelligence and a sharp sense of humor, Paul was a devoted family man whose love for Janet never wavered. Together, they raised ten children, beginning with their firstborn in 1961. Paul’s passions extended beyond work and family; he was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, and feeding the wild birds of Casper. He was also known for his signature, special occasion floral arrangements. His love of nature was further evident in the more than 600 trees he planted on his property outside Casper, creating a peaceful, arboreal sanctuary for his family and local wildlife.
Paul is preceded in death by Janet, his beloved wife of 54 years; his parents, Andrew and Dagmar (née Wettermark); his brother, Joseph; his sister, Dagmar; and his sons, Paul and Michael. He is survived by his brother, Francis; his children: Dwayne, Catherine (William), Darryl, Valerie (Darin) Hill, Christine (Richard) Harris, Charles (Cynthia), Heather (Brian) Jones, Jennifer, Andrew (Michele), and Raymond (Beth); 27 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

HEINES .. .. .. Bradford Thompson Heines passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by his closest family on November 3, 2025. Born on July 24, 1964 in Summit, New Jersey, he was a devout Catholic and loving husband, father, and grandfather.
He is survived by his beloved wife Teresa Gucwa Heines, daughters Mareta Kaitlin Arena, Sarah Heines, and Cassandra Giuliani, sons Stasiu Gucwa, Angelo Arena, Bobby Giuliani and Matthew Hunt. He was blessed with four grandchildren: Carmine and Gianna Arena, and Matteo and Marco Giuliani. His sisters Susan Loyd (Dave Loyd), Barbara Turner (Steve Turner), and brother Richard Heines (Carolyn Heines), bestest buddies Eileen Fagan and Dan Fagan were always by his side. In addition to being survived by his nieces and nephews: Nicholas and Benjamin Rickel, Trevor and Amanda Loyd, Jamie, Megan, and Christine Turner, Lucy and Molly Heines, Sophia, Daniel, Amanda, Hannah, Victoria and Ricky Fagan. Brad was blessed with the love of his extended Fagan family and Thompson cousins.
Brad was preceded in death by his parents Richard and Helen Heines. His dearest in-laws Edward and Mareta Fagan.
Brad served in the US Navy for fourteen years. He was a Torpedoman on the Von Stuben submarine. He was employed by Nasdaq, News America, and Neptune Marketing Services as a Systems Engineer. He completed his Bachelors at Sacred Heart University and Masters at Fairfield University. He earned his 3rd Degree black belt in the Tang Soo Do Mi Guk Kwan alongside his daughters Mareta Kaitlin and Sarah. He was an avid music lover and played the double bass. Brad loved to play soccer, wrestle, hike,
