Time To Get Up, Captain...

While out to sea, a new seaman was learning the position of messenger of the watch. It was 06:00 and time for the CO's wake up. Well, the new seaman did everything almost right. He knocked twice on the stateroom door opened it stepped in and made his announcement the CO came into control a few minutes later and told the COW that the messenger needs to learn the proper wake up call. 

The OOD overheard this and asked the young seaman what he had said. 

The seaman replied "Capt. sir, the OOD say's it's time for you to get up," and everyone in control busted out laughing.
